We are pleased to invite you to participate in an Oceans Experts’ Meeting to discuss and make proposals for Ghana’s Constitution Review. This meeting is scheduled to take place on the 9th of May 2025 at the AH Hotel, East Legon, Accra from 9:00 a.m. to 3: 00 p.m.
The objective of this meeting is to convene leading national ocean experts to discuss options for integrating ocean governance principles into the revised Constitution. At the end of the meeting, we expect to develop a brief proposal and position paper on the sustainable utilization of the ocean and ocean resources within and beyond Ghana’s national jurisdiction for submission to the Constitution Review Committee including draft articles.
